The C4SI project at R2B

C4SI project was presented during Research2Business (R2B) on June 27th on the DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION Arena.

Mirco Marchetti, Professor at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, presented the objectives, activities and partners that are working together on this ambitious project.

C4SI aims to improve the security levels of production plants and related machinery of Emilia-Romagna SMEs.

The project will follow two lines of action:

• SMEs training on the prescriptions contained in the new ‘Regolamento Macchine’ of the European Union, which lays down specific requirements for the safety of devices and machinery.
• Design and prototype innovative solutions that apply to the context of Operational Technology (OT), with a focus on the Zero Trust paradigm, on authentication, access control and solutions for the security monitoring of operators’ activities.

C4SI project is funded by the Emilia-Romagna Region.
