CRIS is the Interdepartmental Research Centre on Security and Risk Prevention of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and deals with application areas related to cybersecurity, manufacturing, sensitive data management and privacy. It promotes a global vision of security culture.
Within C4SI, CRIS will apply its skills to risk assessment in the field of OT and cryptographic techniques for the implementation of secure communication protocols and authentication systems. In addition, it will be involved in the development of cyber attack and malware detection systems specific for Industry 4.0.
CIRI-ICT is the University of Bologna’s industrial research centre for information and communication technologies. Its mission is to promote technology transfer and support innovation for large, medium-sized and small local companies.
Within the project, CIRI-ICT is the leader of WP2 due to its specific competences related to the application of the Zero Trust paradigm and the realisation of Zero Trust architectures for information systems and IT networks.
IN4 is an industrial research laboratory within the University of Ferrara, part of the Technopole of Ferrara network. It is specialized in mechatronics, motor engineering, service innovation, and digitalization. Their mission is to transfer innovative engineering technologies to industry and public administration, by tailoring collaborations to specific needs. IN4 excels in integrating multple and heterogeneous research expertise, supporting horizontal industrial product and process structuring. This approach has fostered a robust network of ongoing collaborations with the production system, bolstered by commissioned activities and significant industrial research projects at regional, national, and European levels.
In the context of the CS4I project, IN4 will lead the WP4 with the primary goal of supporting centralized Accounting for Industry 4.0 and 5.0.
